In gratitude for a longtime continuing partnership, Clarke Elementary School staff members delivered baked goodies to adopt-a-school soldiers and other important partners.
Counselors Savali Siaosi and Carolyn Daniels made the personal delivery Monday to the 57th Expeditionary Signal Battalion (Enhanced) motor pool as soldiers arrived for morning formation.

This is the 15th year the school has provided Snacks for Soldiers during the holiday season. The school staff also delivers goods to the Fort Hood gate guards.
The counselors praised the soldiers for consistently assisting the school with a wide variety of activities from the first day of school to the Thanksgiving meal, family craft night, career day and a yearly school supply drive.
The school and unit compete in a charitable effort to raise the most pull tabs to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House.
“It’s been a special partnership for a long time,” said Siaosi, “and we want to make sure the soldiers know we care.”
